I am a student
What do you know about the past…? What do you THINK you know about the past…? Do your friends from other countries have different opinions or even ‘facts’ about the past? How does your knowledge influence your social behaviours and actions, or even your political engagement – like voting?
As a digital media user, you are faced with endless news feeds. Do you ever wonder who wrote the article or post you are reading? How can you know for sure that a source is reliable? Are you aware that texts and images on the Internet can be presented in a way so as to influence you? Learning how to distinguish fact from opinion and falsehood from truth, and fighting against propaganda and intolerance makes you a better citizen.
If you want to know more, if you are curious and bold enough to question what you think you know, then RETHINK is for you.
Read.
Discuss.
Think.
Question.
Ask.
Develop the knowledge and skills to recognise and stand up to prejudice, discrimination, and fake news… RETHINK and become a more informed and aware global citizen.
