On the basis of en educational kit named 'Si c'est là, c'est ici' (if it's there, it is here') which contains interviews (audiorecords and videos) of people having survived genocides and mass murders in countries as Rwanda, Burundi, Cambodja, Congo en Bosnia, as well as perpetrators of those massacres in these countries, our pedagogical team goes to schools to sensitize youngsters on the mechanisms and processes that can lead to genocide and mass murder. Through memory education, we intervene making the context of those genocides known to the students and with an interactive methodology and participatory techniques, we make them critically think about the mechanisms and processess going on in their own society today such as discrimination, polarization, stereotypes, violent radicalization, and so on.Materials used:
